More Fedeats then Victories!

This is not spam! Merely, I would like to get some serious answers to my questions!

Please explain how it is, that in every battle I fight, that I almost
always get the brown fluff beaten out of me by the higher level players
and yet, a low level player can win more Xp than me even, when my stats
and abilities are higher than his?

It seems that in every battle the "Heavies" are always drawn to me and I
get defeated! It has always been this way since I first started playing
this game and no matter how high up in level or ability, I never walk
away with more victories than defeats!

I know you are going to say it is merely a random factor or luck but if
this game is trying to emulate real history, you would find that not
only does it miss the mark very badly but it seems to have more elements
of mythical or even magical proportions!

An example would be that in reality ten low level players would easily
"take out" a high level player by overwhelming him yet, in this game a
high level player seems to be able to "kill off" the ten low level
players without a problem and be a hero.

Now, you and I both know that luck or the random factor doesn't really
enter into that type of situation but, rather the game always favours
the high level players almost all the time. In this case the magical and
mystical qualities take over the reality of the game!

If this is what this game is all about then, why not make it a truly
mystical game like Dungeons and Dragons instead of pretending to emulate
historical reality?!

It would be nice once and awhile to come out winning in a battle or war
instead of loosing all the time! Perhaps, it's time to re-adjust the
computers to allow Wolfram to start winning a few fights and battles! What say you all?! ?(

Firstly, I moved this thread from error reports to here as I don't really see any errors being reported, but here are a few answers as far as I can see.
I almost
always get the brown fluff beaten out of me by the higher level players
This joins, (and is contrary too) the other many many complaints about higher level players getting beaten by lower level players too often.

It seems that in every battle the "Heavies" are always drawn to me and I
get defeated!
If you are lasting long enough to meet the 'Heavies' you must be doing something right.

if this game is trying to emulate real history
It never has claimed to be historically accurate it is game with a theme.

ten low level players would easily
"take out" a high level player by overwhelming him yet
Unfortunately the algorithm used by the computer program that runs the game, as you know, requires a series of 1 on 1 fights and does not allow for mobbing. Possibly one for the suggestions thread?

the game always favours
the high level players almost all the time.
This quote contradicts itself a bit 'always' and 'most of the time'. I again refer you to the countless threads decrying the renowned 'random factor' as it often favours the little guy.

If this is what this game is all about then
There are as many answers to this as there are players. Personally I preferred to play the character building the best account I could, others prefer the order life organising groups into battles, others sit on the SB and enjoy the social interaction. There are many positives in the game.

I'll go get a hammer and a spanner and I'll meet you back here. We'll go out to Berlin and adjust a few computers. :P

this is when i miss falcos input :( ..just my observation: before update, as falco stated... players were matched by player id numbers regardless of levels. so those old players that were active and high level beet up less actives that were low lev cause they started abt same time. you could almost predict who fought who.

part 2 cause im on cell. now you get matched by xp... high lev against high lev on other side. dont appear mercs go first now. again its almost predictable. if more high lev on one side low lev on other side will get matched with big dogs and beeten down. at least what ive seen.
